Program:  Austin Traffic, and what you can do about it

“Truth is Stranger Than Fiction: Austin’s $35 billion plan for making traffic ten times worse – and what you can do about it” with Bill Bunch, longtime attorney activist for Austin’s water quality and executive director of Save Our Springs Alliance, a non-profit organization working to protect the Edwards Aquifer, its springs and tributaries. A native of San Antonio and Arlington, Bill Bunch left Texas to earn a bachelor’s degree in environmental biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley. Bill returned to Texas to practice environmental law in Austin, first with the law firm founded by Stuart Henry, later as a sole practitioner, and then as chief counsel with the SOSA. Bill was part of the group that drafted and successfully petitioned for the Save Our Springs Ordinance in 1992. He has been executive director since 2000.

Consider biking, carpooling, or taking Cap Metro to the meeting. Free parking is available after 6pm on San Jacinto and nearby streets.
