Shoreline Stewardship: Rain Garden Planting at East Avenue

The Trail Conservancy continues to improve floodplain health by installing and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure (rain gardens) along the Trail. These structures reduce the impact of heavy storm flows and improve water infiltration.
Volunteers will learn about rain gardens, their importance to our Trail, and how to plant and maintain them. TTC will provide materials, gloves, and extra water for volunteers. Sign up to volunteer here.

- Meeting Location: East Avenue Rain Garden (Google Map Pin) (Event Map)
- Parking Information: Street parking is available along East Ave, and there is limited parking under the I35 bridge.
- Directions: Park and walk to the meeting location.
