The topic of this week’s show is going to be public transportation and Capital Metro. Cap Metro just released the draft of their Connections 2025 plan. Cap metro releases one of these plans every 5 years to guide changes to their service, etc. This year’s draft plan focuses around increasing frequency on as many bus routes as possible. It also calls for the creation of additional Metro Rapid lines.
Our guest will be Melissa Ayala, who is a Communications Specialist at Capital Metro. She’ll be giving us an in-depth look at the plan, as well as letting our listeners know how they can get involved.
