SFC’s Planning A Successful Fall Garden

PLANNING A SUCCESSFUL FALL GARDEN

This class teaches participants how to transition from a summer to fall garden, and it gives gardeners the knowledge and tools needed to plan their fall garden for success. Participants will learn which plants are suited to Central Texas fall gardens, how to group plants based on their height and water and nutrient needs, companion planting techniques to control pests, square foot gardening techniques to maximize space, and succession planting to ensure steady harvests. The class will also cover planting, tending and harvesting tips specific to fall plants.
Course fee is $15.
