School Garden Classroom Training

SCHOOL GARDEN CLASSROOM TRAINING

November 2, 2015 6pm – 8pm, November 3, 2015 6pm – 8pm

Help foster a brighter, healthier future for children in Central Texas through school gardens. Garden-based education is a growing movement nationwide. At this 2-part training, you will learn how to design and teach in the school garden. We’ll share classroom management tools and tips and hands-on, engaging activities and lessons for integrating the school garden into classroom learning. This training will be led by peer facilitators who are long-time school gardeners and have years of applied knowledge to share with other educators.
*English-Spanish translation and childcare available by request (request must be made up to 2 weeks before the event).
*Food will be provided.
