Rally for Our Rivers

Polluters and their allies in Congress are working to overturn Clean Water Act protections for 143,000 miles of Texas streams – putting our rivers and drinking water at risk of pollution.
Join us for a "float-in", a rally on Lady Bird Lake to stand up for our rivers. Meet us on the water in a canoe, kayak or paddle board by the Pfluger pedestrian bridge and tell Congress to Protect Texas' Rivers!
In May, President Obama and the EPA restored Clean Water Act safeguards to small streams and headwaters that have been vulnerable to development and pollution for nearly ten years. It's a huge victory, but bills in Congress would overturn the rule and we need to organize to defend these critical protections for clean water.
