Rain Garden Planting With Latino Outdoors
March 8 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
The Trail Conservancy continues to improve floodplain health by installing and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure (rain gardens) along the Trail. These structures reduce the impact of heavy storm flows and improve water infiltration.
Volunteers will learn about rain gardens, their importance to our Trail, and how to plant and maintain them. TTC will provide materials, gloves, and extra water for volunteers.
This event is in partnership with the Austin chapter of Latino Outdoors
