Rain Garden Planting Day with Shoal Creek Conservancy

The City of Austin is constructing a brand new rain garden at the intersection of Shoal Creek Boulevard and Great Oaks Parkway. This rain garden will help to capture and filter stormwater before it enters Shoal Creek. We need your help to plant the new rain garden with native plant species that will ensure optimal rain garden function, support our native pollinators, and add beauty to the corners of this intersection.

We will be hosting a workday to plant native species in the rain garden on Sunday, April 14th from 9-11 am and would love to get as many helping hands as possible!
