The City of Austin’s Quality of Life Commissions are holding three virtual townhalls this month to prepare their budget recommendations for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. The townhalls will serve as listening sessions for the commissions to decide what communities need right now and how their budget recommendations can address those needs.
The virtual meetings are hosted by the Joint Inclusion Committee, are free and open to the public, via Zoom, and scheduled for two hours each. The virtual town hall meetings are scheduled to address broad community topics on the following dates:
- Quality of Life Commissions Townhall on Affordability and Resiliency, Wednesday Feb 16 2022, 6:30 PM
- Quality of Life Commissions Townhall on Access and Engagement, Thursday Feb 24 2022, 6:30 PM
- Quality of Life Commissions Townhall on Public Safety and Health, Saturday Feb 26 2022, 10 AM
