Quality Of Life Budget Townhall

The City is committed to an inclusive and transparent budget development process that utilizes resident and stakeholder feedback to ensure budget priorities are being met. During the months of December 2022 and January 2023, 3 hybrid (in-person and virtual) community meetings will be hosted by the 9 Quality of Life Commissions. Join the City of Austin Quality of Life Commissions to share interests and concerns about your quality of life in Austin. We want to hear from you about what the City needs to prioritize to uplift and improve the quality of life for all Austinites.

The Quality of Life Townhalls will be hosted in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual participation over Zoom. Catered food, supervised children’s activities, and language interpretation will be provided (Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese (Simplified), and ASL interpretation). You may request a language interpreter by calling 3-1-1 no later than five days before the meeting you wish to attend.

The Joint Inclusion Commissions are (in alphabetical order): African American Resource Advisory Commission, Asian American Quality of Life Advisory Commission, Commission on Immigrant Affairs, Commission on Seniors, Commission for Women, Hispanic/Latino Quality of Life Resource Advisory Commission, Human Rights Commission, LGBTQIA+ Quality of Life Advisory Commission, and the Mayor’s Committee for People with Disabilities.
