Public Safety Budget Talk Back: Power to the People’s Priorities

Join Avow Texas, Equity Action, Texas Civil Rights Project, No ALPRs, Hands Off Central Texas, Austin Justice Coalition, Grassroots Leadership, Ground Game Texas, and others for our “Public Safety Budget Talk Back: Power to the People’s Priorities.” During the party, we’ll discuss the upcoming City of Austin Budget and how our city resources can best serve the people. We’ll play games, envision our dream budget together, center public safety and community care, discuss our proposed Community Investment Budget, and empower attendees to contact their city councilperson to advocate for community care, not cops.

City leadership will be invited to hear input from the most impacted stakeholders in our city.
