The Housing and Planning Department invites the community to join the upcoming Imagine Austin Speaker Series webinar, “Project Connect: Ask Me Anything,” on Wednesday, October 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Come prepared to pepper the engineering and design team with questions! A plan to improve and expand public transit in Central Texas.

The vision includes:

  • dedicated transitways,
  • a new and expanded rail system
  • expanded bus service,
  • new park & rides,
  • a downtown transit tunnel,
  • an all-electric bus fleet,
  • new neighborhood zones for circulators,
  • an all-electric bike fleet at transit hubs,
  • more real-time arrival information at stations, and
  • greater frequencies.
