Future Front Texas is a 501c3 nonprofit, homegrown in Austin, Texas. We started as a grassroots meet-up series called Boss Babes ATX (bbatx) in 2015. We are run by a four-person staff and a network of amazing volunteers, each committed to showing up for the spaces we want to see in the world. We nurture creativity, community-building, and professional resilience in Texas.

On Sunday, June 25, we’re partnering with Pease Park for its second-annual Pride Picnic—a day of abundant sunshine, community vibes and a delightfully queer celebration of the summer solstice.

The picnic will be open from noon to 4 PM. Bring your blanket, family, friends & lovers. Pack a lunch or grab food and beer from some of our incredible vendors once you arrive. It’s up to you!

Free and open to the public. Family-friendly. Dog-friendly. Human-friendly.

WHAT TO EXPECT

* An outdoor community flea, featuring pop-ups by 30 LGBTQ+ creatives, artists & small businesses from The Front Market

* Austin-local food trucks, with snow cones and specially curated lunch items for your picnicking pleasures

* Family-friendly and fun-in-the sun activities around Pease Park’s Splash Pad (bring your suit!), treehouse and other installations
