✰ On Sunday, June 26, we’re partnering with Pease Park for its first-ever Pride Picnic—a day of abundant sunshine, community vibes and a delightfully queer celebration of the summer solstice. ✰
The picnic will be open from noon to 4 PM. Bring your blanket, families, friends and lovers. Pack a lunch or grab food and beer from some of our incredible vendors once you arrive. It’s up to you!
Free and open to the public. Family-friendly. Dog-friendly. Human-friendly.
This year’s inaugural picnic lineup includes:
— An Outdoor Community Market, featuring 40 LGBTQ+ creators & small business owners from
The Front Market
— An Austin-local food court, with specially curated items for your picnicking pleasures
— A
Banned Camp Book Reading with recently banned books by BookPeople
— Family-friendly face painting and pop-ups from
Equality Texas + other LGBTQ+ orgs
— Pease Park’s Splash Pad (bring your suit!)
— And more to be announced.
>Pride Picnic is free and open to the public. No RSVP required.
Every pledge made with your ticket will directly benefit the administration of our
Creative Future of Texas Fund, a micro-grants program for emerging creatives and small business owners in Texas.
