When people have concerns or complaints about potential police misconduct, those concerns need to be heard, investigated, and resolved. At Austin’s Office of Police Oversight (OPO), everything we do is to promote an atmosphere of earned trust between Austinites and the Austin Police Department (APD). We do this by making it easy, accessible, and safe for Austinites to provide information and start the process.

Join the Office of Police Oversight for the first quarterly Police Oversight Implementation Workgroup meeting on November 21, 2023, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

We invite community members to attend this meeting to learn about the City’s progress in implementing Proposition A and Resolution 99.
The meeting is open to the public and will be hosted virtually on Zoom.
