Learn how you can turn that lifeless soil into an abundant food forest!
Join Alissa and Jonathan from Festival Beach Food Forest for a presentation about permaculture and how to change a landscape into an abundant food forest. Forest gardening draws on the indigenous wisdom of our ancestors with the primary goal of increasing biodiversity and enriching the soil. Festival Beach Food Forest is a non-profit organization that helps maintain a seven layer food forest, open to all, in the heart of the city. Its mission is to grow edible forest gardens on public lands to nourish, educate and inspire.
