Paris, Austin, And The Future of Climate Change

From Earth Day ATX –

On June 1, President Trump announced that the U.S. would leave the Paris Climate Accord. In response, as of June 15th 305 US mayors, 13 US governors and a number of companies have committed to upholding the agreement.

But what does all of this this really mean for Climate Change, for the U. S., and for Austin? And what are the most effective ways in which people can engage in the growing local movement on climate?

Join us for an expert-led, facilitated group discussion. Panelists will include climate leaders County Commissioner Brigid Shea and Director of Rainforest Partnership, Niyanta Spelman. Janis Bookout, Outreach Manager for Earth Day and Co-Founder of 2020 or Bust will moderate.
