Organic Gardening 101

Want to grow your own food but don’t know where to start? Curious to learn more about soil health, companion planting, composting, plant timing and other organic methods that WORK? Join us for a crash course in organic vegetable gardening, and get your hands in the soil as we plant summer crops in our demonstration gardens.
The class is free and guided childrens’ activities can be arranged upon request; just email Yard2Table@gmail.com.

Sunfield Community Garden is located in the Sunfield Neighborhood at the Sunbright Activity Center in Buda TX. Though garden membership is reserved for residents, the garden hosts FREE hands-on classes on various topics the 3rd Saturday of each month for the general public. We strive to demonstrate ecological gardening at it’s best; come see our orchards, chickens, water-recycling sink, rain gardens and more!
