Earth Day Volunteering

From the Austin Parks Foundation –

Join your friends, neighbors and fellow park-lovers as we give back at Davis White NE!

Parks and Recreation’s Urban Forestry Division plants trees strategically in parks and schools across Austin. Trees go a long way to improving the experience and health of a park, and we need your help caring for them! They recently planted trees at the park and we need to mulch them! We will also have a seedball making session and end the day with a nature hike on the Walnut Creek Trail.

We will provide tools, gloves, music and fresh, cold drinking water – PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE, in order to reduce waste. We will also provide KIND bars for snacks!

We look forward to having y’all out at Davis White! We will meet near the playground in the part of park just east of Crystalbrook. Keep an eye out for the official APF truck, see the map for a visual.
