In partnership with the Community Tree Preservation Division, TreeFolks is giving away 200 free trees to Austin Residents and Austin Energy Electricity customers through our NeighborWoods program.
Our fourth and final giveaway of the season will be at the H-E-B on Manchaca and Slaughter Ln from 9 am to 12 pm. Trees are available first come, first serve and we will distribute one tree per person. Please bring a Photo I.D, Austin Energy Electricity Bill, or Austin Library Card as proof of residency.
Below is a list of species we’ll have available:
Shade Trees:
– Red Oak
– Monterrey / Mexican White Oak
– Montezuma Cypress
Flowering / Ornamental Trees:
– Mexican Plum
– Texas Persimmon
– Anacacho Orchid
Fruit Trees:
– Methley Plum
– Brown Turkey Fig
