Nature Nights: Life on the Prairie

Nature Nights are free, family-friendly events filled with exciting explorations of native plants, animals and the ecology of Central Texas. Each evening features interactive presentations, hikes with experts in their fields, and nature crafting for kids of all ages.

The Life on the Prairie Nature Night highlights prairie ecosystems, some of the most beautiful, important and threatened in Texas and across the nation. Learn about the wildflowers, tall grasses and deep roots supporting these scenic landscapes and all the critters that call them home.
