National Public Lands Day Trail Cleanup

Join Hill Country Conservancy board and committee members on National Public Lands Day for a morning at the Dick Nichols Violet Crown Trail trailhead!
We’ll kick off the morning by learning a little about the exciting upcoming plans for Whirlpool Patio. Then, we’ll head off down the trail to pick up trash and remove graffiti to keep the VCT clean and beautiful. It’s also the ending day of our 2022 VCT Challenge, so you’ll have one last opportunity to check more items off your board and enter to win some fun prizes!
The Violet Crown Trail is truly one of Austin’s jewels but it takes a community to keep it maintained and safe for everyone to use. National Public Lands Day is a great time to show your commitment to the trail through volunteering. We hope you will join us for a fun and productive National Public Lands Day!
