National Plug-In Day Electric Car Show

Come see the present and future of plug in electric vehicles (EV)! Test drive an EV, ask EV owners about their cars, and learn about the environmental and economic benefits of switching from gas to electricity.
Plug-In Day is a nationwide observance that will draw unprecedented attention to the environmental and other benefits of plug-in vehicles (electric cars, plug-in hybrid electric cars, scooters, and bicycles) through simultaneous EV events staged in over twenty major cities coast to coast.
We will have vehicles from Austin EV Club members, gas car conversions by Revolt Custom Electric Vehicles, Ford Motor's Transit Connect and Focus Electric, and the Austin Area Nissan Leaf Owners Group. Electric Avenue Scooters and Alien Scooters will also be there with two wheeled EV options. There will be free rides from Electric Cab of Austin and GRIDbot Networked Electric Vehicle Charging Stations will be on hand to demonstrate their stations.
A representative from Clean Cities Austin will be on hand to answer questions about Austin's rebate program for electric vehicles and new charging station locations.
