The Austin Parks and Recreation Department invites community members to a virtual meeting with finalists for the Museums and Cultural Programs Division Manager Position. The selected candidate will lead and oversee an annual budget of $8.2M for the operations of City of Austin museums, galleries, and cultural centers and spaces.

Join Austin Parks and Recreation Thursday, July 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for an online meet and greet. Register for the Zoom meeting. During the meet-and-greet, attendees will hear about the hiring process, candidates’ backgrounds, and provide feedback on each candidate.

The Museums and Cultural Programs Division provides safe and inclusive spaces where people explore creativity and identity through the arts, histories and cultures of Austin and the world. The division promotes civic engagement through festivals, performances, exhibitions, social practice, camps, workshops and classes.
