Meet the Candidates for the Family Justice Center’s Executive Director!

WHAT: A community forum where finalists for the Executive Director role will participate in a moderated Q&A session. At the end of the session, attendees will have the opportunity to share input on the candidates, which will factor into the selection process. Attendees may also submit questions before the event.
WHERE: Commissioners Courtroom, 700 Lavaca St., 1st Floor, Austin, TX 78701 (free parking at 800 Lavaca Parking Garage). The forum will also be livestreamed.
WHO: Three finalists for Executive Director will participate in a moderated Q&A, drawing on questions submitted by the community. The candidates are: Tamica Gaynor, Debi Hill, and Eric Byrd. WHY: A Family Justice Center brings together the services and support survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and other forms of family violence may need in a welcoming, coordinated location. The Executive Director selected will shape the Center’s culture and priorities for years to come. This forum gives Travis County residents a direct opportunity to hear from and weigh in on the finalists before a hiring decision is made.
