Our Desired Future Traveling Exhibit

From Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center, the Hill Country Alliance, and the Meadows Center for Water and The Environment

The Meadows Center will host a moderated panel discussion on March 7 from 6pm to 9pm at the Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center to provide insight on the newly constructed Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District.

Discussions will focus on efforts to preserve groundwater as well as water-related issues facing residents in Travis County. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet candidates running for positions on the Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District Board of Directors.

The event is an excellent opportunity for residents to hear from the officials who will govern the Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District and gain valuable information on what they can do to help water conservation efforts in Travis County.

Following the panel discussion, all attendees are invited to attend a reception co-sponsored by the Hill Country Alliance.

For more information about the panel discussion, visit http://bit.ly/TravisCountyGCD. Future exhibit dates for Our Desired Future may be found online at http://Calendar.MeadowsWater.org/
