Every year, the Lone Star Chapter of the Sierra Club recognizes Sierra Club members and other Texans whose outstanding work protecting Texas' natural heritage furthers the goals of the Sierra Club and the spirit of John Muir.
The Awards Dinner will honor Sierrans and others whose actions on parks and wildlife, water and energy issues, and environmental art and justice, as well as in chapter service in 2012, merit recognition and appreciation from all Texans. This event is full of inspiring, amazing stories of how individuals in our state are making a difference on the environmental front, and helping give a greener future Texas to us all.
Dinner includes entrée and dessert. A vegetarian entrée will be available. Cost to attend the dinner is $49 per person, and proceeds from the dinner benefit the Lone Star Chapter’s legislative program. Cash Bar starts at 6:30 pm. Dinner is at 7:00pm and will conclude with the presentation of awards. Dress is business casual. Chez Zee American Bistro Gallery is located at 5406 Balcones Drive in Austin; parking available at the restaurant.
