From Downtown Texas on Sabine between 5th Street and 6th Street at 1pm, featuring the award-winning Huston-Tillotson University Jazz Collective, as we celebrate the Confluence opening with Waterloo Greenway and the Mexican American Cultural Center reopening after three years!

Presented by the Downtown Austin Alliance in partnership with Antone’s, LIVE! from Downtown, Texas is a new music series bringing free lunchtime and early evening performances to plazas, pocket parks, courtyards, and private spaces across downtown. Through the Downtown Austin Alliance’s Musicians Activating Spaces program, LIVE! From Downtown, Texas celebrates Austin’s creative spirit while supporting artists from Austin and beyond, boosting foot traffic, and enhancing vibrancy in areas where additional activation can support perception and foot traffic, especially amid ongoing construction.
