Latina Equal Pay Day symbolizes the day Latinas must work into the new year to earn what White non-Hispanic men made at the end of the previous year. Latinas typically earn only 55 cents for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men and must toil for nearly 23 months to achieve what their counterparts earn in just 12 months.
Despite these challenges, Latinas are at the forefront of driving our communal economic success. Cultivating a robust Latina community is essential for fostering inclusivity and equal opportunity. Through mutual connections and support, we possess the most potent tools for bridging economic disparity gaps. By offering guidance, mentorship, and access to resources, we empower Latinas to shatter barriers, overcome challenges, and establish businesses that fuel economic growth.
