Last Chance Diversion Plan Office Hours

From Austin Resource Recovery –

All properties affected by the Universal Recycling Ordinance must complete the required plans each year between October 1 and February 1. This training will be the last Office Hours event offered by Austin Resource Recovery for the 2019 Annual Diversion Plan and 2019 Organics Diversion Plan reporting period.

Please reserve a time to stop in and receive in-person assistance completing the required diversion plan(s).

Who Should Attend:
Affected property owners and managers who need assistance completing the Annual Diversion Plan
Food permitted business owners or managers who need assistance completing the Organics Diversion Plan

What to Expect:
ARR staff and URO outreach coordinators will be available to help attendees complete the online forms at the workshop, and can provide more information about the URO.

What to Bring:
Annual Diversion Plan- Information on the property’s trash and recycling programs (recycling and trash contracts, or service invoices). You will be reporting details such as the number, size, and frequency of pickup for trash and recycling containers. This information can also be obtained from your service provider.

Organics Diversion Plan- Information on the organics diversion programs at the business (e.g. documentation of food donation or compost collection service contracts or invoices).
Trash, recycling, and/or compost invoices for recent billing cycle

Note: You will need access to your email at the workshop. Staff will have computers and tablets available for attendees to complete the online form, or you can bring your own.
