KOOP provides a diverse array of programming, emphasizing programs that deal with local issues and/or serve communities which are under-served by the mainstream media.

To celebrate another successful Spring Membership Drive, KOOP Radio IS throwing a party at The Far Out Lounge! Pick up your thank you gifts, shop our surplus sale, and browse local crafts while listening to live music from Steel Cocktail, Jeremy Nail, and John Wesley Coleman III.

PLUS listen to records spun by KOOP DJs Jay Robillard (The Lounge Show), Arlini (The Bunny Hop), and DJ Dot Matrix (The Girlie Show). See y’all from 1-5 PM on Saturday, May 1st!

The Far Out Lounge is located at 8504 South Congress. Winner of Best New Venue at the Austin Music Awards 2020.
Our backyard provides lots of room for distancing, and guests are encouraged to remain at their table unless using the restroom or ordering at the outdoor bar.
