KOOP provides a diverse array of programming, emphasizing programs that deal with local issues and/or serve communities which are under-served by the mainstream media.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming KOOP Earth Day Consciousness Event: Building Relationships through Community Radio, a KOOP Community Council Outreach Initiative!

Soul music & funk will meet dialogue & reflection at this family-friendly event! Come join us in celebration as local non-profit organizations partner with KOOP Radio to promote Earth health and dialogue at this consciousness-raising event and benefit.

FEATURING
– Live musical sets of soul and funk curated by KOOP’s DJ Magic ELJ
– A live show by The Horsies from 9 to 10 pm.
– Tabling opportunities to network with local non-profits
– A series of earth-and-community-themed talks by local organizers and academics
– A free yoga class and demonstration to help attendees connect to Mother Earth with a soulful backdrop.

A $5-$10 donation at the door is appreciated – all proceeds will benefit KOOP Radio and participating non-profits.
