Keep Austin Rooted Picnic

It’s sprouting season, and you know what that means – it’s time to get your party on with TreeFolks for our 2nd annual Keep Austin Rooted Family Picnic! This year, we’re excited to be welcoming our friends back to the beautiful space at Live Oak Brewing Company for an afternoon in celebration of our 33rd planting season. This season we hosted nearly 20 Community Tree Plantings, adopted out over 5,000 NeighborWoods trees, and reforested nearly 70 acres, all with the help of our volunteers and donors. That calls for a celebration if you ask us!
This year’s picnic will feature music from Ley Line, a performance by Ventana Ballet, a chess tournament with Chess for Trees, axe throwing with Black Axe Company, the crowd-favorite bug safari, and more! We’ll have food trucks Texas Drip BBQ and Show Me Pizza on site, and Live Oak’s taps will be flowing.
