The City of Austin, Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating National Park and Recreation Month this July by hosting a citywide interactive play day to enrich, educate, and empower the Austin’s families. Keep Austin Playing is designed for children and parents to explore activities and programs offered throughout Austin that help create healthy, active and sustainable communities.
In addition to city programs, vendors will be on site to provide demonstrations and share information about recreational activities that support healthy lifestyle changes that are fun! This family event will feature a portable climbing wall, an inflatable batting cage, a bike rodeo, human foosball, an obstacle course, corn hole, tailgate games, prizes and informational booths relating to health, wellness and play.
