Juneteenth Social Ride

Black History Bike Ride is excited to announce that our annual Juneteenth Social Ride is just a few days away! Join us at the Texas African American History Memorial (at the Texas Capital, near 11th & Congress) at 6pm on June 18th, 2023 for an evening of riding bikes and learning about Austin’s Black history.

This year’s Juneteenth event will follow a route focused on some of our favorite historical locations and people. We will end at Rosewood Park and join some of the Juneteenth Festivities. We’ll try to provide some post ride refreshments and snacks.

Please be sure to RSVP via the EventBrite link. Once your RSVP is confirmed, you will be entered into a raffle for some sweet prizes! This year we are asking every rider to RSVP, donate and fill out a waiver. Your donation goes directly towards helping us share black stories in Austin and support our volunteers. Suggested donation is $20 and really helps us out, but you can enter any number in!
