January 2025 Fix-It Clinic

Got a broken item like a torn shirt, faulty blender or worn-out toy? Bring them to a Fix-It Clinic and learn hands-on repair skills with help from our expert volunteers—free of charge!

How it works: Bring up to two items and work with our coaches to learn how to fix them. Tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. If you know your item needs a replacement part, please bring it with you. While we can’t guarantee every item will be repaired, you’ll learn how it works and what you may need to fix it.

Drop-off option: Can’t attend in person? Drop off your item at George Morales Dove Springs Recreation Center (5801 Ainez Dr) from January 17 to 23. We’ll try to fix it, and you can pick it up between January 26 and February 1. Items not claimed by February 1 will be donated. Space is limited, and a waiver is required.
