The second in our two-part series on Permaculture, this class will focus on gardening, specifically companion planting and natural pest repellents.
Your garden is a living ecosystem, and in this class you will learn how you can maximize your yields while keeping a happy and healthy garden just by utilizing simple design techniques! Learn what plants to grow together, and how to beat pests naturally!
This free class will be taught by Taelor Monroe and Chloe Buzzotta from the Austin Permaculture Guild (APG). The APG is an organization that serves the greater central Texas community by connecting people to courses, events, resources, and professionals in the Permaculture field.
Taelor Monroe is the Executive Director of the APG. Taelor organizes and teaches the permaculture design courses and workshops at APG along with managing operations of the Guild. Her main focus and drive is to create community and educate others about regenerative permaculture design and practice.
Chloe Buzzotta is the Assistant Director, and has a background in environmental activism. Her passions include permaculture and intentional community living. Every day she aims to embody those passions; through her work with Austin Permaculture Guild, other like minded organizations, and gardening.
