Imagine Austin Speaker Series: Austin by the Numbers

The story of Austin is one of constant change. So how is City leadership preparing for future change based on what’s happening now and what has happened in the past?
That’s one of the big topics that will be covered in the next edition of the Imagine Austin Speaker Series hosted by the Austin Planning Department.This informative panel discussion will feature City Manager T.C. Broadnax and City Demographer Lila Valencia and will be moderated by University of Texas Professor Jake Wegmann. It will reveal how the City uses detailed data about population trends throughout the years to address everything from affordability, racial equity, public safety, mobility, and more.
