The Cause

The importance of art goes beyond its ability to connect and inspire. It is the conduit that spreads important ideas, when barriers are present, and words simply are not enough. Unfortunately, many creators are not able to fulfill their fundamental needs.

During our time in Austin, we are partnering with local groups that are truly solutionary in ensuring artists needs are met so they can not only continue to be makers in their community, but movers as well. The Support the Artists Street Fair will benefit our primary non-profit partner, HAAM (Health Alliance For Austin Musicians).

The Health Alliance for Austin Musicians – HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for Austin’s low-income, underinsured working musicians with a focus on prevention and wellness. For more than 14 years, HAAM has kept the Live Music Capital of the World alive and well. With the continued support from its many community partners, the organization has helped more than 5,000 musicians access over $46 million healthcare services, including both primary and specialty care and in areas including dental, vision, hearing and mental health.

Why Earth Day?

Guayakí has always been a mission driven company, with a goal to steward and restore 200,000 acres of South American Atlantic Rainforest and create 1,000 living wage jobs by 2020. We envision yerba mate culture powering this mission via our Market Driven Regeneration Business Model, regenerating vibrant ecosystems and creating vibrant communities.
