From the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin –

This film is about what happens when an over populated world with a lack of resources and a changing climate all collide with each other – an intersection of humanity that many are calling the greatest challenge mankind will ever face. If an “Inconvenient Truth” was about what causes climate change, this film is about what are the effects of climate change on our civilization.

With contributions from several politicians, scientists, and environmental activists, including John Kerry, Newt Gingrich, Al Gore, and Nobel Prize winner Wangari Maathai, the film documents the human plight of climate change with a focus on the intersection of overpopulation, lack of resources and climatic change. Filmmaker Michael Nash and producing partner Justin Hogan traveled to 48 countries in search of the human face of climate change.

The movie screening is free and open to the public.
