Green City Festival

The Green City Initiative is a partnership between the City of Austin and the community, with the goal of preserving and protecting Austin's environment.

FREE! Learn to make a rain garden, compost, transform trash into fashion, load your bike onto a bus rack, grow food in the city, and more. The festival also includes: cycling and gowalla tours of green projects in the heart of Austin, hands-on kids corner, interactive displays, reusable bag and water bottle giveaways, green film screenings, live music by Warren Hood, and speakers from Austin’s “green” community.
