City officials recently announced that their municipal electric utility will move to 100 percent renewable energy sources by 2017.

While city officials state that they're move to wind and solar is chiefly a business decision (based on cost and price stability), it is a huge victory for sustainable energy!  A key player was  Interfaith ECO-Network of Georgetown (Link to Facebook Page) by educating and influencing key decision makers.

On Monday, learn how a faith-based organization influenced public policy!

FEAT is delighted—Reverend Lou Snead, one of our founding fathers, will lead adiscussion-based presentation so that we can learn from the Interfaith ECO-Network of Georgetown.

Reverend Snead, a minister who served as pastor of Faith Presbyterian. He is gifted by integrating spiritual, moral, and community for earth stewardship.
