2018 Coalition Meeting: Thursday, May 3rd
at Mendez Middle School
Join hundreds of GAVA team leaders, residents, and community stakeholders from 78744 and 78745 for a celebration of their accomplishments over the past year, findings from the five-year GAVA evaluation in Dove Springs, followed by learning and strategizing sessions on community organizing for resilience, healthy food access, physical activity in parks and creeks, community safety, school health and early childhood.

Únete con las centenas de residentes y líderes comunitarios de los equipos de GAVA en 78745 y 78744, para una celebración de sus logros a través del último año, un resumen de la evaluación investigativa en Dove Springs de los últimos cinco años, y sesiones de aprendizaje y estrategia sobre: unidad comunitaria para la salud, nutrición y acceso a los alimentos saludables, actividad física en los parques y los arroyos, seguridad comunitaria, salud escolar y bienestar de los niños pre-escolares.
