FUNDAMENTALS: SEASONAL SOUPS AND HOMEMADE STOCK

Soup for supper! Soup really has it all: it’s versatile, it keeps well in the freezer, it’s a great way to use up leftovers or cook down the fridge/pantry, and you can experience a world of flavors without ever leaving town. Using seasonal ingredients from SFC’s Farmers’ Markets, we’ll show you how to make stock and broth, and soup-making methods that turn even the simplest ingredients into a bowl full of bliss.
Sections of this class will be active, so please dress appropriately for the kitchen (closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes, hair tie for long hair). We will sample what we cook, but it will not be a complete meal.

Classes are for adults; teenagers may participate with a parent or guardian present.
