FUNDAMENTALS: MEATLESS MAIN DISHES

Join the global movement, Meatless Monday, and learn how to cook whole grains, beans and other plant-based foods for maximum flavor, appeal and nutrition. As we cook, we’ll review special techniques and equipment, including a pressure cooker. We’ll also discuss how to use leftovers in creative ways so that you can “cook once and eat twice” without having the same thing over and over.
Sections of this class will be active, so please dress appropriately for the kitchen (closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes, hair tie for long hair). We will sample what we cook, but it will not be a complete meal.

Classes are for adults; teenagers may participate with a parent or guardian present.
