Dr. Ken Mix presents “Sustainable Agriculture” A discussion of the beginnings of agriculture, the current ethical dilemmas, resource scarcity and potential opportunities.

Dr. Mix is an Assistant Professor of Soil and Crop Science at Texas State University in San Marcos. He has published numerous papers and is currently focused on: Arid land agriculture and sustainability: Nutrient availability, water infiltration in hydrophobic soils and urban agriculture. Dr. Mix is very knowledgeable and insightful and we look forward to having him. This will be a fascinating class!
