Free Class: Native Grasses

Tuesday, October 17^th at 10am – Neil Schmidt gives us “Native Grasses”. Learn how to identify, cultivate and propagate some of the most common native grasses in Central Texas. As well as which species are non- native invasives. Grasses can be daunting and overwhelming with the endless variety and number of species.  Look through the sea of green and notice the beauty of diversity!  Begin to see the characteristics that distinguish these species. Neil has taught Plant Taxonomy Labs at Texas State University helping students notice these small differences.
