Food Waste

From Earth Day ATX –

As Austin expands its capacity to reduce our food waste, how do we maximize local solutions while learning from and sharing with other cities to amplify solutions that work?

Join us for a live roundtable discussion with local experts, leaders and advocates for food waste prevention and recovery. Get an overview of Austin’s food waste solutions, as well as explore how Austin and other cities learn from each other.

Live facebook feed provided by Austin EcoNetwork.

Joining us for this discussion will be, among others…

  • Brandi Burton, founder of Austin EcoNetwork and Food Shift Austin
  • Andrew Dobbs, Texas Campaign for the Environment
  • Josh Blaine, former in.gredients Store Manager
  • We would love to add your name to this list!

This event is part of our new Green Room Roundtable Discussion Series. This live-fed monthly “think tank” series is hosted by Earth Day ATX and open to everyone. Along with offering networking opportunities for the environmental community, the series offers an opportunity for anyone to join a thoughtful, inspiring, high-level conversation with area leadership focused on the issues we are taking on. By bringing stakeholders together for a group conversation, we aim to provide new opportunities for collaboration and hopefully, new cross-disciplinary solutions. By joining in, the public can get a big picture view of local issues and see ways to get involved and take action.
