You’re Invited to the Food Justice Encuentro!

The Encuentro is an ongoing bilingual community event open to the public, held at SFC’s office.

Topic: Health Equity

• Guest Speakers: Cherelle Vanbrakle: Community-Centered Health
Home Manager at People’s Community Clinic & Keegan Warren- Clem: Legal Partnerships Director and Managing Attorney at People’s Community Clinic.
• Get involved with your local food justice community.
• Learn about local issues that affect food access and equity.
• Share information about upcoming events and ways to stay involved.
• Identify collaborative opportunities with others.
• Enjoy a delicious breakfast made by local caterer Alegria Catering & Fiestas. (GF, vegan and vegetarian options available)
• Breakfast will be available 8.30am-9.00am.
• This event is free! Please, RSVP!

Construction has commenced adjacent to SFC and therefore parking at the building is limited. We encourage all guests to carpool, use public transportation, etc. There are a limited number of parking spots available for guests next to and behind the SFC building. If these spaces are full, please park in the neighborhood.

Don’t forget to bring handouts/materials about the events that you would like to share with the people and organizations that will participate in the Encuentro.

Han iniciado las actividades de construcción al lado de la oficina de SFC. Sugerimos que todos nuestros/as visitantes hagan viajes compartidos o usen transporte público, etc. SFC cuenta con un número limitado de lugares de estacionamiento para visitantes, ubicadas al lado y detrás del edificio. Si estos espacios están llenos, favor de estacionarse en el vecindario.
