Formerly known as Solid Waste Services, Austin Resource Recovery provides residential curbside collection of trash, recycling and yard trimmings in the City of Austin. Additional services include sweeping streets, collecting dead animals, operating a drop-off center for household hazardous waste and collecting bulk items and large brush.

Austin Resource Recovery is hosting another in-person Fix-It Clinic! At Fix-It Clinics, Austinites are invited to bring their broken household items and learn to repair them with guidance from skilled coaches for free! You can bring electronics, household appliances, clothing or other textiles, and jewelry to the Fix-It Clinic for repair.

The next Fix-It Clinic is Thursday, September 22 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Little Walnut Creek Branch of the Austin Public Library (835 West Rundberg Lane Austin, TX 78758). If you’re interested in attending, reserve your spot at here. Or, if you would like to offer your fix-it skills and volunteer as a coach, learn more and sign up here!
